About

Sorcerer's ApprenticeGray Goo is a record of projects, thoughts, and interesting links related to technology. It exists as a place to organize my thoughts, to record and share information with a technical audience, and to offer the occasional unsolicited opinion to a general audience. I expect that much of the content will be of narrow interest; mercifully, the reader can use tags or the search feature to find specific topics.

The term “gray goo” refers to a speculative disaster scenario involving self-replicating nanomachines, first proposed by Eric Drexler in his 1986 book Engines of Creation.
